The Mercedes-Benz star certified vehicle program is designed to cover everything necessary for a pre-owned vehicle to be great. This means that every vehicle aiming to earn the star certified label must pass a comprehensive inspection, meet the highest standards of quality, appear spotless on the inside and out, and offer the same level of protection that you would find in a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle. It must also be offered at a dealership that is able to provide exceptional service throughout the process of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. We offer our clients a great collection of star certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including luxury and stylish SUVs, convertibles, sedans, coupes, and wagons.
In order to be certified, a pre-owned vehicle must first pass a 166-point inspection that aims to uncover potential problems and repair it using genuine Mercedes-Benz parts. The inspection covers every important component of the vehicle including the drivetrain, engine, transmission, interior, and exterior of the vehicle. The inspection also includes an on-road component in which factory-trained Mercedes-Benz technicians take the vehicle out on the road to ensure it performs the way a Mercedes-Benz vehicle should.
Once the inspection has been completed, the vehicle is then eligible for a range of extended warranty programs. The balance of the original factory warranty that protects you for four years or 80,000 kilometres is always in effect, but then there’s also an additional two years or 120,000 kilometres added on for every star certified Mercedes-Benz vehicle. You can also choose to extend the warranty further to a total of three additional years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. A full roadside assistance service that is available throughout North America is also included.
